At Monopoly Go, we respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”), we will respond promptly to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the DMCA and other applicable laws.

This policy outlines the procedure for reporting copyright infringement and how we address such reports.

1. Notification of Copyright Infringement

If you believe that any content on the Monopoly Go app infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a DMCA notification to us. The notification must include the following information:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work: A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or a list of multiple works if relevant.
  • Identification of the infringing material: A description of the material that you claim is infringing and where it is located in the App. Please provide specific URLs or screenshots to help us identify the content in question.
  • Your contact information: Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement of good faith: A statement that you believe, in good faith, that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, their agent, or the law.
  • A statement of accuracy and authority: A statement that the information in your notification is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
  • Your electronic signature: Your physical or electronic signature (typed name is acceptable).

We may also accept DMCA notifications through other channels, but using the provided email ensures a quicker response.

2. Counter-Notification Process

If you believe that material you posted on the Monopoly Go app was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification to dispute the claim. Your counter-notification must include:

  • Identification of the material: A description of the material that was removed or to which access was disabled, including where it appeared before it was removed.
  • Your contact information: Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • A statement of good faith: A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification of the material.
  • Consent to jurisdiction: A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district, or if outside the United States, that you consent to the jurisdiction of any judicial district in which the app provider may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the party who filed the original DMCA notice.
  • Your electronic signature: Your physical or electronic signature (typed name is acceptable).

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the party who submitted the original DMCA notification. If they do not file a lawsuit within 10 business days, we may reinstate the removed material.

3. Repeat Infringers

We reserve the right to terminate the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers of copyright, in accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws.

4. Limitation of Liability

In submitting a DMCA notification or counter-notification, please be aware that you may be held liable for damages (including legal fees and costs) if you knowingly make false claims of copyright infringement.

5. Modifications to this Policy

We reserve the right to update or modify this DMCA Policy at any time without prior notice. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Modified” date.
